- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Was given a pawn ticket for a family heirloom rifle. I understand that a background check and typical rules would apply, as outlined on the pawn ticket and countless other similar transactions on record. Pawn shop refused to honor the terms of their pawn ticket nor run my background - indicating I could instead wait out the pawn and purchase the gun from him later, but most likely at a higher price. VERY UNETHICAL and UN-AMERICAN. I would pass any background check and have a CHL - He claimed he was "protecting me" ?? I would not go here again for any reason.By Rudy Wright, November 30, 2016
